THE SOUTH BAY PROFESSIONAL CONNECTION AND SPA RIVIERA WELCOMED OVER 75 GUESTS TO FIRST EVER PRE-VALENTINE’S DAY NETWORKING/BUSINESS EXPO EVENT
Special Guest Appearance by Actress Maria Rangel (NBC’s Hit Show Age of Love)
South Bay, CA— Spa Riviera Owner and Renowned Microdermabrasion Specialist, Tony Cutrona, along with The South Bay Professional Connection Founder, Joy A. Kennelly, co–hosted a Pre-Valentine’s Day networking evening of health, beauty, food, special guests, and a holiday celebration in Redondo Beach, CA on Thursday, February 7, 2008.
The South Bay Professional Connection networking event took place at Spa Riviera. The day spa and lobby area amply accommodated over seventy-five guests who attended the first-time event and visited the business sponsors represented.
The evening began at 6pm with Clarisonic and Microdermabrasion skincare demonstrations and chair massages provided by Spa Riviera experts which continued throughout the evening. Spa Riviera Microdermabrasion and European facial treatments were given away during the drawing.
Artist Bigwood’s fine art was on display for sale and commission from Bigwood’s private art collection which was admired by attendees such as, Del Amo Rotary Club President, David Guelff; Chiropractor, Dr. Brian Carrico of Performance Health Medical Group; Hermosa Beach UPAC member, Kimberlee MacMullan; and Strand Rental Owner, Suzanne Rampe, among many others.
Actress Maria Rangel (star of NBC’s hit show Age of Love) arrived at 7pm to showcase her new “Yummy” line of soy candles and designer dresses. She also signed autographs, posed for pictures and answered questions from fans.
The networking event was enhanced with appetizers provided by Award-Winning Chef Rafael of Lou-e-Luey’s Restaurant, and capped off by red velvet and chocolate cupcake desserts provided by Chef Melinda. Nutritionist, Jayne Justice, offered New GoChi – Himalayan Goji juice tastings and cocktails.
