The South Bay Professional Connection©

By Joy A. Kennelly

I have wanted to create a group like this since last August and am proud to announce it’s finally a reality. Here’s my mission statement for The South Bay Professional Connection.

The South Bay Professional Connection’s (TSBPC) mission is to promote the interests of the South Bay as a whole to the media, the public, businesses, and residents.

TSBPC provides a wide variety of community, professional, social and business opportunities for professional groups, companies, and others interested in connecting with South Bay businesses, residents, visitors, and cultural, entertainment and educational institutions.

The South Bay Professional Connection achieves these goals through membership, special events, a comprehensive calendar of events, local, state and national government advocacy, public-private partnerships, and public relations/marketing for members.

Many of you may not realize that I have about ten other publicists that I collaborate with on a variety of clients. Certain associates have PR skills in fashion, others it’s music, still others it’s film, technology, nutrition, or events.

These friends and colleagues are people I’ve done business with for many years and we all bounce ideas and needs off each other. I’m pleased to announce that they have agreed to be part of The South Bay Professional Connection (TSBPC) as well.

This way when a client comes into TSBPC, we will all work together to achieve the best result for that particular client. I’m still working out fees and more of the structure which I will announce down the road.

In the meantime, please consider joining us on Thursday, February 7 at Spa Riviera from 6pm – 9pm for a great time of networking and experiencing new products, new treatments, new foods, new drinks and new people!

All the details are below. And for those of you wondering when the art reviews are coming, please note, I’ve been very busy and writing a blog review of anything the way I write and link takes hours of my time, which I haven’t had recently. However, hopefully soon! Thanks for your patience. I promise you’ll like it.

Now, mingle on people!
